Pollinator Patch in Full Bloom

1 min read

Other than sunflowers, many of the flowers in our arrangements, including cornflowers (bachelor's buttons) and black-eyed Susans, are harvested from Farmer's Bloom's pollinator patches. Each patch is home to more than 60 different species of flowers, creating a vibrant habitat that supports both pollinators and biodiversity.

Our pollinator patches do much more than provide fresh-cut flowers. They offer an important food source for all pollinators, improve water quality, and provide nesting habitat for wildlife. In fact, one of our patches is currently home to a nesting turkey!

In the photos below, you'll see one of our pollinator patches in full bloom, a bouquet featuring cornflowers and black-eyed Susans, and a Farmer's Bloom helper creating beautiful bouquets with these flowers.
